On April 8, in order to help international students to lead a safe life in China, College of International Education held a lecture on safety and legal knowledge for international students. Police officers from College Police Station of Shanghai Municipal Security Bureau and the teacher from the security office of our university shared the relevant laws and regulations with more than 100 international students.
The police officers explained the laws, regulations and safety knowledge that international students should understand when they live and study in Shanghai, such as traffic safety, accommodation registration, drug control, and emergency handling methods. They also shared some cases related to international students. At the end of the lecture, College of International Education conducted an online test on students' safety and legal knowledge to help them better understand the contents of the lecture.
Safety education has always been an important part of international student education. The regular safety and legal lectures held by the College of International Education can help international students have a deeper understanding of the relevant laws and regulations in China. The lectures can also help students solve practical problems in life and know how to avoid dangers.
